Two of our wonderful lead actors are busy these days in the theater world. First and foremost, Tony Winner Victoria Clark, who plays Anna in HARVEST, stars this Winter/Spring in Lincoln Center Theater’s American premiere of When the Rain Stops Falling. The drama has already earned acclaim in Australia and London, and is officially sold-out stateside. We hope for all of Victoria’s fans that the play gets extended. Vicky won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2005 for her role in The Light in the Piazza.
And on the West Coast, Adriana Sevan Nichols, who plays Rosita in HARVEST, is finishing up another run of her award-winning one-person show Taking Flight. The show has been playing at the Teatro Vision in San Jose. It was chosen by the LA Daily News as one of the 10 best plays of 2006. Adriana has performed it at theaters across the United States these past few years, following its start at the Sundance Theatre Lab. Continuing her work as a playwright, Adriana’s new play Night Over Erzinga will have its first production in Chicago in May.
