Whisper House

January 2nd, 2010 · No Comments · Music

Our talented composers are collaborating once again.

WHISPER HOUSE, the latest musical from Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), world premieres later this month at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.  Set in 1942 at the height of World War II, it’s a story of a young boy who moves into a haunted lighthouse.  David Poe plays one of the ghosts who (along with Holly Brook) perform all of the songs in this production.  Mare Winningham headlines.

Ahead of the premiere, Duncan and David will perform live in concert at the Old Globe – one night only.

Their music always has a wonderfully emotional and intelligent quality.  They give this to HARVEST too.

Duncan’s studio album for Whisper House was released in 2009.  You can find the music on iTunes and Amazon.
