Special Home State Screening

April 23rd, 2010 · 2 Comments · Building An Audience, Cast, Crew, Film Festivals, On Location, Press

HARVEST will have a Special Home State Screening on Sunday, May 9 at 4pm at the historic Palace Theater in Danbury, CT as part of the Connecticut Film Festival (May 4-9). There will be a Q&A with the filmmakers following the screening.  We hope to see you there.  Tickets are on sale now.

HARVEST filmed in and around Madison, CT.  This beautiful shoreline area not only hosted the production, but the film is set there, making it an integral character in the movie.

As well, much of the secondary cast and many members of the crew are from Connecticut.  HARVEST also benefited from the CT State film tax credit program and the support of the CT Film Office.

We’re happy to bring HARVEST back to the state where it began…

* New York Times includes mention of HARVEST in a profile of the festival.

I posted this on my blog after reading the article in the Times this morning. It looks like a great film – everyone involved should be very excited! I look forward to seeing the feature soon.
